My work is inspired by the spiritual aspects of nature, people, architecture- all of which fill me with awe and optimism, drawing me closer to God.
C.S. Lewis once wrote: "We want something else which can hardly be put into words–to be united with the beauty we see, to pass into it, to receive it into ourselves, to bathe in it, to become part of it."
It's my wish that my work connects with you and brings a positive and uplifting feeling of connection, kinship and optimistic hope to anyone who views one of my paintings or receives an A. E. West note card.
